This level also features one bedroom, a full bathroom, a dedicated office, and access to a balcony overlooking the trees and mountain landscape. Whether it’s morning coffee or an evening drink, this is a favorite place to unwind. Wildlife & Surroundings This home borders a national forest, so wildlife sightings are common. You may see deer, elk, birds of prey, and other native animals during your stay. You may encounter wildlife, neighboring farm animals, or dogs during your stay. As with any mountain setting, please be mindful and keep a safe distance from wildlife. Water & Septic The home operates on well water and a septic system. At times, the water may have a slight mineral or sulfur scent, which is normal in mountain areas. The water is safe for use and drinking, and the home includes a whole-house filtration system along with additional filtered water at the fridge and sink. Traveling with Children Families are welcome! We provide a pack ’n play, highchair, toys, books, and kid-friendly dishware. Please note that due to the natural terrain, wildlife, and nearby forest, children should always be supervised when outdoors. Parking The property includes a two-car garage and a large driveway with ample space for multiple vehicles. Getting There Access is mostly paved, with approximately the final half mile on a well-maintained dirt road. During winter months, AWD or 4WD vehicles are strongly recommended, as mountain weather can impact road conditions.

We loved our stay here! The hosts were very responsive. It is a little off the beaten path. If you were to stay during a heavy snow/freeze you might have a hard time getting to/from the property. The access has a few steep gravel roads. We did not have a problem but I could see how you would. Overall, it was a great experience!!

The place had amazing views, it was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. For those who aren’t comfortable with critters, note that this place is in the mountains and will have critters.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! So peaceful. The hot tub was so nice after a long day of sightseeing. The house was stocked with everything we needed and was perfect for our party of 8. You are not far from the city at all. It took us about 15 minutes to get to Walmart to get our groceries for the week. But once you get to the house it’s like the city is worlds away. So quiet and peaceful. And the views of the mountains are breathtaking. There was a slight issue with the upstairs not cooling very well (Colorado experienced record breaking heat while we were there) but Clay came out with a portable AC unit to help cool it off. Very kind and very responsive. We loved our stay and would love to go back someday!! I could go on and on about this home!!

We loved staying here! Between the beautiful views & the huge space we were so happy to stay here. The hot tub was a big hit and we also enjoyed the many games. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and slept comfortably each night. We loved that the street was quiet, but were only a short 10 min drive to the grocery. Thanks for hosting us, Clay!
